Will there ever be recurring charges on my credit card? top

Possibly, there are two scenarios:

1. When you select the "Pay as you go" option, your credit card will be charged $40 for the first month of the program, and then $40 in 30 days for the second month of the program, and $40 in 60 days for the third month of the program. If and only if, you complete all 12 Guided Sessions and you can truthfully tell us you did not benefit from the program will you be eligible for a $120 refund. Further, you will only be eligible for a refund if you contact us within the 14 days following the date you completed your final Guided Session.
   
   
2. Your membership is for 12 weeks (90 days), starting on the signup date and ending on the 90th day after signup. You have 90 days to compete the 12-week program. After that you may extend your membership for 30 days for $9.95.
   
   When your membership expires and before you have completed the 12 Guided Sessions, you will be given the opportunity to extend your membership for free for two weeks. You can get two 2-week free membership extensions in order to compete the 12 Guided Sessions. After the two free 2-week extensions are used, you can renew your membership for 30-days for $9.95.
   
   The Hunger Coach program will become available after you complete the Guided Session for week four and until your membership expires. After that, you can renew your membership for 30 days for $9.95. The free membership extensions do not apply to use of the Hunger Coach. After your first renewal, each 30 days your credit card will be charged $9.95 until you cancel your next 30 day's renewal. Renewal fees are not refundable.

How do you protect my credit card data? top

When you give us your credit card data it is transmitted to our servers by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. We record your credit card data in our database which is protected by multiple layers of security. Our servers are also secured by the most effective firewall available. What if I'm unable to keep up with the Guided Sessions schedule? top

This shouldn't be a problem. Although Shrink Yourself is a 12-week program and your membership is good for 12-weeks, you can get some extra time to complete the program. If you need to take a week or two off, your next Guided Session will be waiting for you when you get back.

We take privacy very seriously at Shrink Yourself. We will not divulge any personal information that identifies you to anyone. Our confidentiality policy is also the reason we do not cite case samples and cannot provide the names of people who have already completed the Shrink Yourself program.

How does the Expert Advice process work? top

The Expert Advice consultation is done in an online form where you ask as many questions as you want, give additional information, and make statements to the Emotional Eating Expert. The Emotional Eating Expert will review all of your work-to-date, answer your questions, and make appropriate recommendations. You receive notification it is ready via email but go back to the Expert Advice page to see the reply. Each of these exchanges cost $50. One is included in the Premium membership.

Yes, simply mail a check or money order for $120 US funds made out IHS Online, Inc. to the following address:

Please, include your email address. Once we receive your payment, we will email you a pass code which will allow you to establish your membership.

What is your refund policy? top

We feel that to receive the full benefit of Shrink Yourself the 12-week program must be completed in full. That is why we require that to qualify for a refund, a member must complete all 12 weeks of our program. If you still feel that you have not benefited from our program after all 12 weeks, you can request a refund. Cancelling does not automatically include a refund.

Yes. We have many members in the UK, Europe, Australia, and other countries. Just use a credit card for US funds.

How do I make dialy entries in the Habit Diary? top

It's simple. Choose the Habit to make an entry into, scroll down to the bottom of your entry, press Enter for a new line, type in today's date, and make your entry.

When does my membership expire? top

It is shown under the Quick Links box on the upper-right-hand side of your welcome page when you are logged into your membership.

After the 12 weeks, what then? top

After your membership has expired, the next time you attempt to log into your membership, you will be given an opportunity to renew your membership for $9.95 for 30 days. When you chose to do so, your membership will automatically be renewed each 30 days and your credit card will be charged $9.95 each 30 days. You can cancel at any time.
